RETURNS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By returning drug product(s), you are certifying that the specific drug product(s) were purchased directly from ExpertMed; that product(s) have been stored properly at a temperature indicated on the product label in the original bottle; bottles have never been opened and drug product(s) have never been repackaged, in compliance with the Prescription Drug Marketing Act.
- A detailed verification will be performed upon return of product(s) to our warehouse. Appropriate credit will be issued for items returned.
- Returns are only accepted on purchases made directly from ExpertMed.
- Returns are only accepted from the original purchaser.
- All Major label OTC and Vitamin products are returnable up to three months after the expiration date on the product.
- Credit will be based on the current selling price or original invoice price, whichever is lower, adjusted for terms discounts, rebates, free goods, etc. if applicable.
- A completed Product Complaint form must be included with the product(s) when returning defective merchandise. A Product Complaint form can be obtained from our Regulatory Department at 800-447-5050 option # 5
- Credit will be issued within 30 days of receipt. No deduction can be taken prior to that time. No cash refunds.
- Sales representatives cannot authorize return of products or pick-up merchandise.
- All 3rd party/Vendor returns will be charged a 1% processing fee. (Any credit less then $2.00 will not be processed)
- No credit will be given for:
- Opened or partial bottles; Repackaged or products not in original sealed container; Packages that arrive at our distribution center without a return authorization form; Product defaced with stickers, price marks, knife cuts, etc.
- Free goods.
- Returned merchandise damaged in transit by your carrier.
- Refrigerated items, repacks, or damage due to improper storage and handling, fire, flood, heat, cold, water, smoke, catastrophe or bankruptcy sale, or purchased or otherwise obtained in violation of any Federal, State or local law or regulation.
- Close-out, short-dated, clearance, unsealed vials, special orders, drop shipments, special promotions, auto shipments, purchased for export and merchandise expressly designated as non-returnable at the time of sale, including that of certain manufacturers who do not accept returns.
- Merchandise not on the itemized return authorization but appears in the return box. Such items will not be returned and will be destroyed.
- Merchandise returned by a customer that has not made a purchase for a period of two months or longer.
- Freight unless the return is a result of our error.
HOW TO REQUEST AUTHORIZATION FOR RETURN
- Contact the Customer Service Department at 734-843-4502 or 800-447-5050 option# 4 for a return authorization form for any items you wish to return for credit, including recalls. To ensure proper processing, you must supply all pertinent item, invoice numbers, lot and expiration date.
- Return Authorization form must accompany the returned merchandise.
- Returns not due to our error may be shipped by your carrier of choice. Your carrier of choice must be able to bill you directly for the shipping expense. A return authorization label does not provide prepaid freight unless the return is a result of our error.
- Returns for Class II narcotics require a special authorization, and can be obtained by calling our DEA Compliance department at 800-447-5050 option # 5. Any unauthorized return of a controlled substance will be reported to the DEA and no credit will be given.
ORDER ERRORS
- Claims due to order fulfillment or computer errors must be reported within two business days of receipt and are returnable for full value at our freight expense.
- DHL EZ-Return tag will be provided for returns due to our error. Please note these tags are not eligible for Saturday pick-up.
INDATE OVERSTOCK
Overstock returns must be unopened, unmarked, and returned not less than six months prior to the expiration date marked on the product. A 10% restocking fee will apply. Requests over $1,000.00, with valid pedigree, are subject to special review and restocking fee.
EXPIRED/SHORT-DATED MERCHANDISE
Expired and Short-Dated, unopened merchandise can generally be returned. Expired and Short-Dated merchandise is defined as six month before and three months after the expiration date on the product. A 25% handling and destruction fee will be assessed. Requests over $1,000.00 are subject to special review and handling and destruction fee.
COMPANY DISCLAIMERS: ExpertMed reserves the right to amend this policy which supercedes all previous policies and is hereby automatically incorporated into any prior customer supply agreements or written contracts.
